Change assets

Assets are the URLs or files that are contained within a selected attachment. You can edit the URL path or change the languages of a URL or file of an existing attachment.

  1. Open the Assets tool.

  2. From the explorer view, select the attachment that you want to work with or from the Attachments list view, double-click the attachment to open it in the properties view.

  3. In the properties view, click the Manage Attachment tab.

  4. In the Files or URLs section:

    Option Description
    Edit URL path

    1. Click the cell in the table that contains the URL you want to change and press Enter to edit in place.

    2. Change the path of the URL for the selected attachment.

    Change languages for URL or file

    1. Select the URL or file that you want to edit.

    2. Click the cell in the table that contains the language that you want to change and press Enter to edit in place.

    3. To specify that you want to use the language for the selected URL or file, select the check box; to specify that you do not want to use the language for the selected URL or file, clear the check box.

      If you do not specify a language for a URL, all languages that are supported in the selected store are applied to the URL.

  5. Click Save and Close, or click Close.
