Adding files to attachments

Use the Assets tool to add files to multilingual attachments, which make language-specific attachments available based on a customer's default browsing language.

About this taskFor example, if your Web site is a global site that supports multiple languages targeting customers from various countries, you might have a separate user manual file in each store for each language that is supported in a product. Use the Assets tool to organize these user manual files by adding them to a multilingual attachment. You can then use the Catalogs tool to assign this multilingual attachment to the product. When shoppers log on to the storefront with a specific language and view this product, the user manual is displayed to them in this language.

Use the utilities view to browse and search for files that you want to add to the current attachment:

  1. Open the Assets tool.

  2. Open the utilities view by clicking
