Delete defining or descriptive attributes

You might want to delete an attribute for example, if the manufacturer no longer makes the product dry clean only, or the product is now only available in one size fits all.


Procedure

  1. Open the Catalogs tool.

  2. From the explorer tree, select a catalog.

  3. Find the product that contains the defining or descriptive attribute to delete..

  4. Right-click the product; then click Open. The Product Properties view displays.

  5. Click Defining Attributes or Descriptive Attributes.

  6. In the list view, right-click the attribute to delete; then click Delete or click Delete .

  7. If you are deleting a defining attribute, a dialog to confirm deletion displays. Click Yes on the dialog. If you are deleting a descriptive attribute, click Save The attribute is deleted.
