Changing defining attribute values

You might want to change a defining attribute value if the manufacturer of a product has changed the product attributes or the inventory has depleted a type of product.

Procedure

1. Open the Catalogs tool.

2. From the explorer tree, select a catalog.

3. Find the product that contains defining attribute values to change.

4. Right-click the product; then click Open. The Product Properties view displays.

5. Click the Defining Attributes tab.

6. On the list view, right-click the defining attribute to change; then click Open. The Attribute Properties view displays.

7. Change Attribute Values by clicking the Value field of the attribute that to change; then press Enter or click .

   Option	Description
   Value	The value of the attribute. Attribute values are based on the data type such as text, number or decimal.
   Image Path	The relative path where the image is located.
   Unit of measure	Use this field to select the unit of measure used for the attribute.
   Sequence	The order in which the object is displayed. Numbers are displayed in ascending order.

8. Click Save and Close, or click Close.
