Creating a shape object
Shape objects consist of lines created with drawing tools.
To draw a shape object:
- On the Operations toolbar, click the drawing tool that you wish to use. You can choose the following tools:
Option Description Line tool
Draws a straight line. Zig zag tool
Draws a zig zag line. Curve tool
Draws a curved line. Smooth curve tool
Draws a smoothed curved line. Freehand line tool
Draws lines freehand. Ellipse tool
Draws an ellipse. Square tool
Draws a rectangle or square. Rounded square tool
Draws a curved rectangle or square. Polygon tool.
Draws a polygon. - Specify fill color, line color, width, type, or thickness on the Operations toolbar if you wish.
- Use the mouse to draw a shape object on the canvas. For explanations on how to use each drawing tool, see Drawing tools (WebArt Designer).
Hints:
- If the Operations toolbar is hidden, select View > Operation Toolbar to display it.
- You can use grids to facilitate drawing. To display grids, select View > Show Grid.
- You can use the mouse left button to draw with the foreground color, and the right button to draw with the background color.
