Adding a shadow to a shape object
You can add a customized shadow to a shape object.
To add a shadow to a shape object:
- Select the shape object that you would like to edit on the Canvas or Object Stack.
- Select Edit > Edit Object.
- In the Edit Shape Object dialog, click the Shadow tab.
- Make sure that the Apply Shadow box is selected.
- You can adjust the following settings:
- Blur Strength - Enables you to specify the intensity of blur. The blur becomes darker as you move the slider towards the right.
- Color - Displays the Color dialog to enable you to apply a color to your shadow.
- Horizontal offset - Specifies the horizontal distance between the shape and shadow. You can either enter a value in the field or drag the control.
- Vertical offset - Specifies the vertical distance between the shape and shadow. You can either enter a value in the field or drag the control.
- When you are finished adjusting the settings, close the dialog.
Note: WebArt Designer assumes that the shadow was specified when the object is not rotated. Accordingly, if shadow is applied to a rotated object the program displays the shadow in such a way that it was rotated together with the object.
