Drawing tools (WebArt Designer)

After you have selected a drawing tool to use on the Operations toolbar, the following describes how to use the different drawing tools.

To draw a straight line, click and release the mouse button at a starting point on the canvas. Drag the mouse to an end point and click the mouse button again to set an anchor.

To draw a zigzag line, click and release the mouse button at a starting point on the canvas. Drag the mouse to an end point, and click the mouse button again at an anchor point. Repeat this procedure to draw lines in any direction. Click Select Object

To draw a curved line, click and release the mouse button at a starting point on the Canvas. Drag the mouse to draw the line and click the mouse button again when you want to draw a curve. Repeat this procedure to draw curved lines in any direction. Click Select Object

To draw smooth curved lines freehand, click and hold the mouse button on the canvas. Drag the mouse to draw curved lines in any direction and release the mouse button when you are finished drawing your shape. When you release the mouse button, any jagged edges on the line will be smoothed automatically.

To draw freehand shapes, click and hold the mouse button on the canvas. Drag the mouse to draw lines in any direction and release the mouse button when you are finished drawing your shape.

To draw an ellipse or circle with an outline and fill color, click and hold the mouse button on the canvas. Drag the mouse diagonally and release the mouse button when you are finished drawing your ellipse. To draw an outline of an ellipse, select Ellipse/circle (outline and fill)

To draw a rectangle with an outline and fill color, click and hold the mouse button on the canvas. Drag the mouse diagonally and release the mouse button when you are finished drawing your rectangle. To draw an outline of a rectangle, select Rectangle (Outline and fill)

To draw a curved rectangle with an outline and fill color, click and hold the mouse button on the canvas. Drag the mouse diagonally and release the mouse button when you are finished drawing your rectangle. To draw an outline of a rectangle, select

To draw a polygon with an outline and fill color, click and release the mouse button on the canvas. Drag the mouse to an end point and click the mouse button again to set an anchor. Repeat this procedure to draw lines in any direction. When you are finished drawing your polygon, click the Select Object
