Changing a SKU

The SKU code is a unique identifier for the SKU, like a part number.

- Hide a SKU
You can hide a SKU so that it does not display to customers, for example, if the SKU is temporarily out of stock:
- Changing the SKU description
- Changing the SKU image
You can change the SKU image, or the location of the image.
- Changing manufacturer information for a SKU
- Changing discount assignments for a SKU
This page is only enabled when using schema-based discounts, which is maintained for compatibility with earlier versions. You can change discount assignments for a SKU, such as adding a discount to the product or removing a discount assigned to the product.
- Changing tax specifications for a SKU
If you want a SKU to have different tax specifications from the product from which the SKU is resolved, you can select taxes that apply to a SKU from a list of taxes that are defined in the store. These tax specifications are used when calculating taxes on an order that include this SKU.
- Changing shipping information for a SKU
Shipping information can be used to calculate shipping charges. You can change units of measure for shipping for a SKU.
- Changing the SKU URL
You can change the SKU URL, such as a Web page where software can be downloaded.
