Actions in marketing activities
Actions define what to do, based on the previous sequence of triggers and, optionally, targets in the activity flow. To include an action in a marketing activity, drag the action from the palette into the work area of the Activity Builder.
The following table describes the available actions for Web and Dialog activities. Click on any action to get details and an example.
Action What happens Used in Sends the customer an e-mail or text message (SMS) that contains the marketing message. Dialog activities Adds a coupon associated with a coupon promotion to the customer's coupon wallet. Displays one or more catalog entries in an e-Marketing Spot on a store page. Web activities Displays one or more pieces of content, for example, advertisements or store messages, in an e-Marketing Spot on a store page. Web activities Displays content in an e-Marketing Spot that is associated with a promotion. The content must have a predefined click action that is directly related to the promotion. Web activities Displays list of the best-selling catalog entries for a category you specify. Web activities Displays a list of the top-browsed catalog entries for a category you specify.
