Standard license
A NeoLoad standard license is made of two files:
- The .lic key description file must be loaded in NeoLoad. It lists the authorized options in NeoLoad carried by the license.
- The .req activation file, generated on request by Neotys, must be associated with the .lic file. It puts the license into operation.
A standard license can be temporary. A rental license is available on a daily basis (non-consecutive days). A rental day is a 24-hour session running from the first test launch or from the first collaborative session (with the optional Collaboration module). See the NeoLoad Pricing section on the Neotys website.
Whether permanent or temporary, the standard license is linked to a single workstation. However it may be transferred onto another machine after a controlled process by Neotys.
When NeoLoad 5.5 is installed on Windows, every user can use the standard license installed and activated on the machine. On a Linux machine, a license is associated to a user profile; it must be transfered before another profile can use it.
