Create an order
- Create an order for a registered customer
Use the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to create an order on behalf of a registered customer.
- Create a billing address for an order
You can create a billing address for an order, and add it to the list of billing addresses for the customer. For a payment method, a billing address is a must. Depending on the terms that are stipulated in the customer's contract, you might not have the authority to change the billing address for the order, or to create a new one. In this case, the information presented on the Billing Address page is read-only.
- Create a shipping address for a customer order
If the customer did not specify a shipping address when the order was created, but wants to specify one now, follow these steps. For example, software downloaded from the Internet does not require a shipping address; however, if the customer requests that a CD-ROM be delivered instead, then a shipping address is required. Depending on the terms stipulated in the customer's contract, you might not have the authority to change the shipping address for the order, or to create a new one.
