Set up the online status

You can set up the online status in either the coworker view or the buddy list dialog box.

This online status applies only to the coworker function, and does not affect the ability to assist customers.

You can change the online status at any time by selecting a status from the drop-down menu above the coworker chat transcript or the buddy list. The table below describes the online status options.

Online status Details
Active Logged on, can send and receive messages and participate in instant meetings
Away Logged on, but not using the computer right now Can receive messages and display them on the screen until the person returns
Do Not Disturb Me Logged on, but does not want to receive messages or participate in conference chats
