My Account Flows
The Order and Quote Capture Integration introduces the View Quotes flow in the My Account Flows. The customer can view a listing and details of the quotes they submitted in the external system, irrespective of the channel used to submit the quote.
My Account summary page is the default page after a customer logs in to the Elite starter store. For information on the My Account summary page of the base Elite starter store, refer to Catalog: Overall layout.
When the Order and Quote Capture Integration features are enabled in the base Elite starter store, the My Account page displays a list of the three most recent orders and a link to My Orders, which enables a customer to view a listing as well as details for existing orders that have been submitted to the external system. The list of recent orders, including the order number, however, is the information retrieved from the external system.
The Order and Quote Capture Integration does not support re-ordering using the previous orders.
Also, a new section is added to the page that displays a list of the three most recent quotes and a link to My Quotes, which enables a customer to view a listing and details for existing quotes that have been submitted in the external system.
- My Orders
A customer clicks on the My Orders link to view a listing of previously submitted orders in the external system, irrespective of the channel used to submit these orders.
- Order Details
A customer clicks the Details link next to an order in the order listing on the My Orders page. Details of the order are fetched from the external system and displayed to the customer on the Order Details page.
- My Quotes
A customer clicks the My Quotes link to view a listing of the quotes previously submitted in the external system, irrespective of the channel used to submit these quotes.
- Quote Details
A customer clicks the Details link next to a quote in the quote listing on the My Quotes page. Details of the quote are fetched from the external system and displayed to the customer on the Quote Details page.
