Change an order

For ATP, an order can be edited only after some items are released to fulfillment. Only items which are not released to fulfillment can be edited. You can change orders on behalf of customers only if the customer was the original creator of the order and has access to the order.

A CSR is allowed to change the order only after all the outstanding payment actions are executed. If there are any outstanding payment actions that have not yet been executed, the 'change order' will pause, while the system executes those payment actions, and hence the CSR will be forced to wait. Note that if a change order is initiated, the outstanding payment actions are given high priority and are processed immediately, while the CSR waits.

To change any aspect of an order, open the Change Order notebook as follows:

  1. Open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. Find the order that you want to work with.

  3. Select the check box next to the order, and click Change.

  4. Update the fields as required and use the links on the left side to switch between order pages.

  5. Click Save to save the changes without submitting the order.

  6. Click Submit to submit the order.
