Customer interactions that trigger IBM Digital Analytics events in Web 2.0 starter stores
In Web 2.0 starter stores, customers can interact with page content that does not result in a full page refresh. For example, a customer can drag products into their mini shopping cart, or their wish list, or use the Product Fast Finder to narrow down search results. For these page interactions, WebSphere Commerce starter store pages generate events to provide analytics data to . The following table lists page interactions in WebSphere Commerce starter stores, and maps those interactions to IBM Digital Analytics events.

Customer adds an item from an e-Marketing Spot to the shopping cart by placing the mouse over the scrollable area in the e-Marketing Spot to stop the scrolling, and then dragging the item into the mini shopping cart. The shopping cart and mini shopping cart are updated. Note: Products that require customers to specify more defining attributes (such as color, dimensions, or finish), cannot be dragged into the mini shopping cart.

Customer updates the shopping cart one of the following ways:
- To delete an item, the customer clicks the item's check box in the mini shopping cart, and then clicks Delete.
- To move an item to the wish list, the customer drags the item from the shopping cart to the wish list.
Note: Products that require customers to specify more defining attributes (such as color, dimensions, or finish), cannot be moved into the wish list.
- To change the product attributes of an item on the shopping cart page, the customer clicks the item, and makes selections from the lists that display.

Customer removes an item from the shopping cart, or changes the quantity of an item by entering a different value in the Qty (quantity) column for the item. Then the customer clicks Checkout on the shopping cart page. IBM Digital Analytics page view event Each time the number of shipments changes, a IBM Digital Analytics page view event is generated with the shipment number as a page name, and a common shipment category.
Customer changes the number of payment methods in the corresponding checkout field. The number is passed as the pageId value, and the payment method is passed as the categoryId value. Customer compares multiple products by dragging products into the compare zone. IBM Digital Analytics page view event Customer browses products using the page controls, and the product list refreshes to the next (or previous) page of product results.
