Change an e-Marketing Spot

We can change the properties of an e-Marketing Spot, such as its name, description, display type, and default content. We can also change the e-Marketing Spot default title content.

Task info

Ensure that the changes we make to the e-Marketing Spot properties match how the e-Marketing Spot is defined in the corresponding JSP file:

• The Name field; the name must match the emsName parameter in the JSP file.

• The selections for the Displays content, Displays catalog entries, and Displays categories check boxes; ensure that the type of content is supported by the JSP file.

• The Default content specified; ensure that the JSP file supports the data type and quantity.

• The Default title content specified; ensure that the JSP file supports the data type and quantity of the marketing content specified for the default title.

Procedure

1. Open the Marketing tool.

2. From the explorer view, click E-Marketing Spots. The E-Marketing Spots - List page opens.

3. Right-click the e-Marketing Spot to change; then click Open. The properties page for the e-Marketing Spot opens.

4. Edit the fields as required.

5. Click

   Save and then click Close.
