Add a block to an order

You can manually add blocks to an order to prevent the order items from being released to fulfillment. This can be in addition to any blocks that are automatically added to the order. Items that have been released to fulfillment will not be affected by adding a block to the order.


Procedure

  1. Open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. Find the order to which to add a block.

  3. Select the order to which to add blocks and click Manage blocks.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Select the block code for the block that to add to the order. If you select a block code that is already applied to an order, the existing block will be overwritten with this new block.

  6. Optional: Enter a comment about why you are applying the order block.

  7. Click OK to apply the block.


Results

Items remaining in this order will not be released to fulfillment until all blocks on the order have been resolved.
