Sample Social Commerce flow changes in the Madisons starter store
When Social Commerce is enabled in a store, you can add Social Commerce widgets to the store pages. Sample Madisons starter store pages are provided to illustrate how the Social Commerce widgets are integrated into a set of new and existing starter store pages.
The Madisons starter store provides extension points throughout the storefront to enable Social Commerce features in the store. The Social Commerce features are called in the Madisons starter store and displayed in the provided extension points. These extension points include Social Commerce JSP files into the existing storefront JSP files.
Existing storefront JSP files that contain extension points include the Category and Product Details pages. The My Account pages contain the Social Commerce history, where previous blog entries, photos, and ratings and reviews can be viewed after they are posted.

The User Profile flows are modified from their original form when Social Commerce is available in the Madisons starter store. These flows extend the Registration page with the option to create an online community profile that is associated with blogs, reviews, and photos. They also extend the My Account Summary page to display the online profile information for shoppers and the My Account Personal Information page so that shoppers can update the information contained in their current public profile with the Madisons store.
- Catalog Browsing flows
The Catalog Browsing flows are modified from their original form when Social Commerce is available in the Madisons starter store. These flows extend the Category page with the option to create blog entries and photos for a subcategory. They also extend the Product Details page so that shoppers can create product reviews and social bookmarks.
- My Account flows
The My Account flows are modified from their original form when Social Commerce is available in the Madisons starter store. These flows extend the My Account pages with the shopper's public profile, blog entries, photos, and reviews. The overall layout of the My Account pages consists of the left sidebar, which contains new headings for the following social content sections: My Blogs, My Reviews, and My Photos.
