Finding and associating objects
While working on the current object, you might want to associate it with another object or attribute. For example, you can associate a product with a merchandising association or a URL with an attachment.
Procedure
- Open a Management Center tool.
- Right-click the object that to associate; then click Open. The properties view opens.
- From the properties view:
- If you know the name of the object to associate, type a search string in the search field, select from a list of object types, and click Find and Add.
The system performs a search based on the search criteria, and associates the object by adding it to the table immediately below the search field.
- To search for the object, click to open the utilities view.
Tip: To delete the associated object that you have just added, click .
