Copy to the clipboard
You can copy objects from a Management Center list view or the explorer view to the clipboard in the utilities view. All objects copied to the clipboard are available for reuse within the same Management Center session for each tool within the Management Center.
Procedure
- Open a Management Center tool.
- From a list view within the Management Center main work area, or the explorer view, select one or more objects, right-click these selected objects, and click Copy to Clipboard. The objects are copied to the Clipboard tab within the utilities view.
The following table describes the object types that you can copy to the clipboard within the Management Center utilities view.
Tool Object type Copy result Catalogs Category The selected category is copied to the clipboard; the catalog entries (products, SKUs, bundles, and kits) within the category are not copied. Sales Catalog category The selected sales catalog category is copied to the clipboard. Product The selected product is copied to the clipboard; the defining attributes, offer price, SKUs, and merchandising associations for the product are not copied. SKU The selected SKU is copied to the clipboard. Bundle The selected bundle is copied to the clipboard; the offer price and merchandising associations for the bundle are not copied. Kit The selected kit is copied to the clipboard; the offer price and merchandising associations for the kit are not copied. Merchandising Association The selected merchandising association (product, SKU, bundle, or kit) is copied to the clipboard. Marketing Campaigns The selected campaign is copied to the clipboard. Activities The selected activity (web activity, dialog activity, or e-mail activity) is copied to the clipboard. Activity templates The selected activity template is copied to the clipboard. E-mail templates The selected e-mail template is copied to the clipboard. E-Marketing Spots The selected e-Marketing Spot is copied to the clipboard. Content The selected marketing content is copied to the clipboard. Customer segments The selected customer segment is copied to the clipboard. Promotions Promotions The selected promotion is copied to the clipboard. Assets Attachments The selected attachment is copied to the clipboard. Files The selected file is copied to the clipboard.
Tip: To remove all the objects from within the clipboard, click Clear.
