Changing an e-mail activity

You can change the content or the target segment of an e-mail activity, but only prior to the delivery date.


Before you begin

If you are using extended sites, and logged in to an extended site, you can change activities if the activity belongs to the extended site store. If the activity belongs to the asset store, you can only change the activity if the user ID has access to the asset store.


Procedure

  1. Open the Marketing tool.

  2. Click Activities in the explorer view.


    Tip: To show only E-mail activities in the list, click the black arrow in the Type column; then click E-mail Activity.

  3. Right-click the activity that to update; then click Open. The E-mail Activity property editor displays showing the selected activity.

  4. Update the page as required selecting the values appropriate for the changed e-mail activity.

  5. Click Save to save the activity, or click Save and Close to close the Activity Builder and return to the previous page.
