Activating or deactivating an activity
Activities can exist in the store in two states; active or inactive. You must activate an activity to make it perform its function for the store. For example, activate a Web activity to make it display content in e-Marketing Spots on the store pages. You can only edit inactive activities.
Before you begin
Before you can activate or deactivate an activity, it must be defined for the store.
Procedure
- Open the Marketing tool.
- From the explorer view, click Activities. The Activities - List page opens.
- Right-click the activity:
- To activate an inactive activity, select the activity, and click Activate. Before an activity that sends an e-mail can be activated, the store e-mail account must be configured. Furthermore, if the e-mail send date is the same as the current date, the system's delivery time must not have passed.
- To deactivate an active activity, select the activity, and click Deactivate.
