Ending a help session

To end a session with a customer, click End Chat.

The customer receives a message explaining that you have ended the session. The session window remains on the customer's screen until the customer manually closes it.

You are not notified when a customer ends a session. If you are in a session with a customer and the Session tab suddenly goes blank, the customer might have accidentally closed the session. You can try to contact the customer and resume the session from the Monitoring tab.
