Create an answer for a question

To create an answer for a question of a Guided Sell:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. From the Merchandise menu, click Guided Sell.
    From the Products menu, click Guided Sell.
    A list of Guided Sells displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Select the check box to the left of the category name you want to work with and click Q and A Tree. The Q and A Tree for the selected Guided Sell displays.
  4. If the question is linked to the Q and A Tree, then select the question and click New. The New Answer page displays. If the question is not linked to the Q and A Tree, then click Questions. The list of questions displays. Select the check box to the left of the question for which you want to create an answer and click Answers. Click New to create a new answer.
  5. In the New Answer page add the following information:
    • The Language field is set to the store's default language.
    • In the Answer field, type the answer you want to create in the store's default language.
    • In the Description field, type a brief description of the answer.
    • To create this answer in a different language, select the language from the Language drop down list.
  6. Create constraints for the new answer.
  7. Click OK to save the new answer.

You must first create an answer in the store's default language, followed by any supported language.
