Install WebSphere Commerce feature packs

Installing a WebSphere Commerce feature pack provides you with new features to improve your WebSphere Commerce solution. Choose one or more of the available feature packs to download and install.

Prerequisite Download the specific WebSphere Commerce Enhancements for version 6 feature pack you want to install .

To complete the installation of the WebSphere Commerce feature pack, review the following information:

• Install WebSphere Commerce feature packs interactively
  You can install your feature pack using an interactive method which uses a graphical install wizard. After navigating through the install panels your feature pack will be installed.

• Install WebSphere Commerce feature packs silently
  You can install your feature pack using a silent method which uses a response file; no graphical interface is required. The silent install can be used to automate the installation.

• WebSphere Commerce feature packs
  WebSphere Commerce v6 feature packs include new features to improve your WebSphere Commerce solution. These additions add new functionality to the WebSphere Commerce product. The feature pack differs from a fix pack in that it does not contain fixes to the base WebSphere Commerce product.

• Enabling features
  After installing a WebSphere Commerce feature pack, you can enable any of the included features to enhance your WebSphere Commerce instance.
