Collaborative portlets
Overview
The collaborative portlets provide access to apps such as e-mail, calendar, to-do list, discussion, team room, contacts, instant messaging, team collaboration, and document management.
Collaboration Center portlets
The Collaboration Center pages deploy instances of eight portlets.
Application Description Displays the Lotus instant messaging list. (formerly Sametime Contact List) Displays a Lotus instant message list of users of the portal page. (formerly Sametime Who Is Here) Allows users to implement both quick search and advanced search for locating people and information about people. Allows users to find, work in, and request new Team Workplaces as well as view Team Workplace details. (formerly Lotus QuickPlace) Allows users to find, attend, and schedule e-meetings as well as view meeting details. Provides Welcome, Mail, Calendar, To Do List, Contacts, and Notebook functions. This portlet can be configured to display and provide access to the following Notes-based applications: Lotus Notes View - displays the contents of any Lotus Notes database. Lotus Notes Mail - displays the complete contents of a Lotus Notes mail database including mail, calendar, and task views. My Lotus Notes Mail - displays the contents of the user's Inbox. My Lotus Notes Calendar - displays the user's Calendar. My Lotus Notes To Do - displays the user's To Do view. Lotus Notes Discussion - displays Notes databases built with the Discussion Database Template. Lotus Teamroom - displays Notes databases built with the Team Room Database Template. Provides Domino-based document management. (formerly Domino.Doc)
Other collaborative portlets
There are eight Lotus collaborative portlets available for deployment separately from the Collaboration Center.
Application Description Allows searching and selection of names of people or groups. Displays up to six different Lotus Team Workplaces in separate browser windows. (formerly Lotus QuickPlace) Displays a Lotus Team Workplace inside the portlet. (formerly Inline QuickPlace) Enables performing a full-text search of portal pages, document libraries, search collections, and any additional content sources specified by your administrator. Launches Lotus Instant Messaging client software in a separate browser window. (formerly Lotus Sametime Connect)
