Install the application center

We install the Application Center as part of the MobileFirst Server installation.

The Application Center is part of MobileFirst Server. To install the Application Center, see the following topics. Optionally, we can install the database of the choice before installing MobileFirst Server with the Application Center.

When we install an IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation edition through IBM Installation Manager, the Application Center is installed in the web application server that you designate. We have minimal additional configuration to do. See Configure the Application Center after installation.

If we chose a manual setup in the installer, see the documentation of the server of the choice.

If we intend to install applications on iOS devices through the Application Center, we must first configure the Application Center server with SSL.
