Configure IBM BPM Advanced for z/OS: Process Server
After install IBM BPM for z/OS , complete configuration tasks to fully prepare your runtime environment.
The configuration phase consists of two types of tasks: product configuration tasks and environment configuration tasks. Product configuration tasks are for setting up the product profiles and configuring the database, while environment configuration tasks are for setting up and generating the deployment environment.
- Create and augmenting IBM BPM for z/OS profiles
To set up stand-alone servers or ND environments for IBM BPM for z/OS, create WebSphere Application Server for z/OS profiles and then augment the profiles with IBM BPM for z/OS functions.- Create the databases
Before the IBM BPM for z/OS instance can function, one or more supporting databases must be configured and the database objects defined.- Completing the stand-alone configuration
After creating and configuring the databases, complete additional configuration steps before you start the stand-alone server.- Completing the ND configuration
After creating and configuring the databases, start the dmgr server and federate the empty nodes into the dmgr cell. Then create the deployment environment, complete additional configuration steps, and start the cluster.- Configure components
You can configure individual components for IBM BPM.
