Install IBM BPM Advanced for z/OS: Process Server

To create a complete and customized IBM BPM for z/OS application-serving environment, first install the product code. Before you begin to install, it is useful to understand how the installation process works.

• Overview of the installation process
  When you obtain IBM BPM for z/OS, you receive IBM Installation Manager for z/OS and WebSphere Application Server for z/OS as requisite products. You must use Installation Manager to install the product code for both WebSphere Application Server and IBM BPM.
• Obtaining and installing the product code
  The product code for IBM BPM for z/OS is available as an IBM CustomPac or an IBM Custom-Built Product Delivery Option (CBPDO). IBM Installation Manager and WebSphere Application Server for z/OS are included in your order.
• IBM BPM file system directories
  After installation, the IBM BPM for z/OS product code is stored in z/OS partitioned data sets and z/OS UNIX System Services file systems.
