Completing the stand-alone configuration
After creating and configuring the databases, complete additional configuration steps before you start the stand-alone server.
- Update the configuration values for stand-alone servers
To ensure configuration consistency, run the WpsUpdate.py script.- Loading the database with system information
Before you can successfully start the stand-alone server, configuration data for the business process management applications must be loaded into the database. You can do this by using the bootstrap utility (bootstrapProcessServerData.sh).- Starting the server and verifying the installation
After you configure the DB2 database, load the database with system configuration, and update the server configuration values, you can start the stand-alone server, and verify the IBM BPM installation.- Setting the correct schema name for the messaging engines
To ensure that the service integration bus (SIB) messaging engines can access the appropriate DB2 for z/OS tables, the correct schema name must be set for the messaging engines. You can use the administrative console to change the schema names.- ConsolidateJAASAuthAliases.py script
ConsolidateJAASAuthAliases.py is a wsadmin script used to consolidate the JAAS authentication aliases, which are used for database access. These aliases are defined by the augmentation process or are defined when a deployment environment is created.
