Domino portlets reference
You can use reference information on the Domino portlets when you
modify their parameters in Administration. This portlets reference also includes
information on new features in the current release, client and server requirements,
and deployment/installation.
List of Domino messaging and application portlets
- Lotus Notes View (can be configured as either an application or messaging
portlet)
- Common Mail (messaging portlet)
- Domino Web Access (messaging portlet)
- Lotus Document Viewer (application portlet)
Note: The Sametime portlet is also a Domino application portlet,
running the Sametime application.
- Lotus Notes View
The Lotus Notes View (formerly Notes and Domino) portlet allows the user to access Notes databases using a Web browser.
- Messaging: the Common Mail portlet
Administrators can configure the Common Mail portlet to connect with any mail server using IMAP4 protocol. In addition to basic mail support, the portlet also supports features such as an inline rich text editor for message creation and editing, and a spell checker.

The Common Mail portlet is installed automatically as part of WebSphere Portal Express installation, and can connect to any type of mail server over the IMAP4 protocol.

To set up the Common Mail portlet for remote use, set up two WebSphere Portal Express servers, the WSRP Producer and the WSRP Consumer.

The Lotus Document Viewer portlet displays content from another portlet, such as Lotus Notes View, that is on the same page of the portal.
