Portal, Express Beta Version 6.1
Operating systems: i5/OS, Linux,Windows |
To integrate IBM® Lotus® Domino® and any associated portlets into your portal site, you perform a series of configuration tasks on an installed Lotus Domino server running LDAP, on any Lotus Domino messaging/application servers you have installed, and on the WebSphere Portal Express server.
Important: Checklist of tasks: LDAP server for Lotus Collaborative Services is an additional and completely different task from configuring the portal server to recognize an LDAP directory. Even if your site is already configured with an LDAP directory, this task is still necessary to support the Domino and Extended Products Portlets. If the existing LDAP directory for your site is a Domino Directory server, you still must complete this task to support portlets. If the LDAP server used to support the Collaborative Services is a Lotus Domino server, it can be the same or a different Lotus Domino LDAP server, as long as the server is in the same Notes domain as all other Domino and Extended Products servers you intend to use. After you complete the tasks listed below, your Lotus Domino configuration will be ready for you to include any Lotus Domino messaging/application servers in single sign-on (SSO) as described in Configuring single sign-on between WebSphere Portal Express and Lotus Domino.
If you encounter problems after you complete configuration, see Troubleshooting Lotus Domino and the Extended Products
