Data collection infrastructure
The data collection infrastructure collects runtime application performance data from hosts in a distributed environment. Each host on which the application runs and from which to collect data must have the DCI installed and running.
The DCI comprises the following components:
Agent Controller Manages DCI and securely communicates with the workbench ARM engine Collects ARM data from the application Two data collection agents Can attach to the application to collect data. Instrumenter Configures servers to send data to the agents
