Creating objects with WebArt Designer
WebArt Designer assists you in creating, manipulating, and editing graphics and image files that you can import to Page Designer. When you have a file open for editing in Page Designer, you can access WebArt Designer by selecting Tools > WebArt Designer. You can create new graphics with the available drawing tools and wizards or you can use the sample graphics available in WebArt Designer. You can also import and edit image files that you created with other applications to WebArt Designer. WebArt Designer allows you, for example, to create a map with shape objects or backgrounds, logos and buttons for Web pages. You can also use this application to edit the color tone and contrast of imported photographs. Page Designer also enables you to edit GIF or JPEG files; however, WebArt Designer supports a wider range of image file types (MIF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, Bitmap, Windows Metafile, TIFF, FlashPix, and Photo CD file types).
