Maneuvering objects

After you have created or imported one or more objects in WebArt Designer, you can use various features to position and manipulate them to lay them out in a desired way on the Canvas or to facilitate the process of designing a Canvas. For example, you can use different menu options to position objects on the Canvas or use the Object Stack to help you organize your objects. You can also drag and drop the objects on the Canvas to position them.

Aligning objects
You can align objects within the selection box that surrounds them when they are selected.

Rotating and flipping objects
You can rotate and flip objects along a horizontal or vertical axis.

Positioning an object on the canvas
You can specify the coordinates where you want to position an object on the canvas.

Grouping and Ungrouping objects (WebArt Designer)
If you want to edit or manipulate several objects as a set, you can group them. When you group objects, you can edit or move several objects at the same time rather than manipulating each individually. If you want to manipulate the objects individually again, you can ungroup the objects.

Hiding an object
If you are having difficulty working with many overlapping objects stacked on the Canvas, you can hide objects temporarily from the Canvas.

Changing the sequence of objects in the Object Stack
If you are working with many overlapping objects, you can change the sequence of objects in the Object Stack to uncover hidden objects.
