WebDAV clients supported by Microsoft Windows
Microsoft Windows supports WebDAV for WebSphere Portal.
You can use the following Windows tools to use WebDAV.
- WebFolders
WebFolders are a Windows Explorer extension that allow you to read and open WebDAV resources by using Windows Explorer (file explorer).
- Mini Redirector Client
Windows XP supports the Mini Redirector Client that allows a deeper integration into the file system than WebFolders does by mapping a network drive.
- WebDrive
The commercial WebDAV client WebDrive is supported by WebSphere Portal.
- Microsoft Office
Microsoft Office products allow you to directly open files on a WebDAV server without a dedicated drive mapping.
