Work with WebDAV clients
To be able to use WebDAV for WebSphere Portal, you set up your WebDAV client. These topics describe the WebDAV clients that the portal supports and provides setup and usage information for these clients.
When you use an HTTP server front end to work with WebDAV, set Accept content for all requests to true for the Web server plug-in in the administrative console under Web servers > webserver1 > Plug-in properties > Request and response.

Microsoft Windows supports WebDAV for WebSphere Portal.
- Open Office
OpenOffice provides native support for WebDAV without a drive letter mapping. You can use it to open and save files directly on a WebDAV server.
- Linux
Linux supports WebDAV for WebSphere Portal.
- Mac OS
Mac OS supports WebDAV for WebSphere Portal.
