Portlet Factory, Version 6.1.2
Siebel View and Form builder
Use the Siebel View and Form builder to create a portlet that can access a Siebel backend system, to display and edit Business Component records. The portlet generated by this builder supports the following operations on a Siebel Business Component: Get, Find, Create, and Save.
This builder allows you to create standard pages that display and edit information obtained from a Business Component. For example, you can configure the builder to create an input page to collect query values, create a search results page to display instances that match those values, and create a page that displays details for each instance presented on the search results page.
Note: To communicate successfully, a Siebel server and an external Siebel client (such as IBM® WebSphere Portlet Factory) must use the same file encoding scheme. To use Siebel builders successfully, make sure that your client platform matches the file encoding used by your Siebel server.
