• Software installation process
  The i5/OS software installation process has three phases: preinstallation activities, the main installation, and postinstallation activities.

• Types of software installation devices
  These devices can be used to install or upgrade an i5/OS release on your system.

  Your i5/OS software order package includes software licensing documents, the CD-ROM media, and other product documentation as appropriate.

• Skipping a release
