Portal Express, Version 6.0
Operating systems: i5/OS, Linux, Windows
Install and federating the primary node
When installing WebSphere Portal Express into a cluster environment, install the primary node. The applications installed on this primary node will be shared by the cluster members. You can install WebSphere Portal Express to a node that is already managed by the deployment manager, or you can install to a new profile before federating the profile.
i5/OS users: Installation to a managed node is not supported in an i5/OS environment. If you are building a cluster on i5/OS, install WebSphere Portal Express first and then federate the node, as described in Installing WebSphere Portal Express on an unmanaged node (primary).
