Change a customer's password
If customers forget the logon passwords assigned during registration, we can reset the password. If no e-mail address is specified during registration, we cannot reset the password for the customer.
Procedure
- Open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator
- Find the customer we want to work with.
- From this list, select the check box next to the customer to work with, and click Reset Password.
- To authenticate that we are authorized to change passwords, we are prompted to provide the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator password. The system generates a password for the customer and e-mails it to the customer's primary e-mail address.
