Change a customer's password

If customers forget the logon passwords assigned during registration, we can reset the password. If no e-mail address is specified during registration, we cannot reset the password for the customer.


Procedure

  1. Open WebSphere Commerce Accelerator

  2. Find the customer we want to work with.

  3. From this list, select the check box next to the customer to work with, and click Reset Password.

  4. To authenticate that we are authorized to change passwords, we are prompted to provide the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator password. The system generates a password for the customer and e-mails it to the customer's primary e-mail address.
