WebSphere Commerce provides sample files for uploading catalog business objects, such as categories, catalog entries, and attribute dictionary attributes. Use the samples as a starting point to create our own CSV files so that you follow the correct data format.- Creating catalog data in CSV format
We can create the catalog data that we want to upload into the Management Center in a CSV format.- Creating catalog data in XML format
We can create data to upload into Management Center in an XML formatted file. This XML file must follow a specific XML format, which is similar in structure and content to the supported CSV format for uploading catalog data.- Uploading catalog data
Use the Catalog Upload feature to upload catalog data in your CSV file or compressed file (.zip) into the database.- Adding catalog entry overrides with Catalog Upload
We can use the Catalog Upload feature in the Catalogs tool to add catalog entry description overrides to our extended site storefront. Loading description overrides can replace the storefront descriptions of catalog entries that the store inherits from our asset store.- Adding attributes with catalog upload
