Uninstalling WebSphere Commerce Developer Update Packages (interactive method)
We can uninstall WebSphere Commerce Developer Update Packages using the IBM Installation Manager that we used to install WebSphere Commerce Developer.
Procedure
- Open the IBM Installation Manager.
- Select an appropriate option:
Option Description Uninstall
- If you installed WebSphere Commerce Developer and an Update Package at the same time, this option removes both the Update Package and WebSphere Commerce Developer.
- If you installed an Update Package after you installed WebSphere Commerce Developer, use the Roll Back option.
Roll Back Roll back reverses updates. If you used the Update option to apply an Update Package, then use this option to uninstall the update and roll back to a saved state. WebSphere Commerce Developer is not uninstalled. If we did not save your state before the update, the IBM Installation Manager repositories list needs the repository.config of the previous version. To specify the location:
- Select Roll Back.
- On the Roll Back Packages page, choose the WebSphere Commerce Developer package group containing the Update Package to roll back from.
- Click Next.
- Select the Update Package version to roll back to and click Next. Review the summary information that is presented on the page.
