Install WebSphere Commerce Developer
To install WebSphere Commerce Developer, install the WebSphere Commerce Developer software and then set the development environment workspace to use a database, either an IBM Db2 or Oracle database. After setting the database, IBM recommends publishing an Aurora sample store to experiment with store features and functionality.
- Install the prerequisite software
- Select how to install
- Configure database
- Change the development database type using setdbtype
- Load the database schema
- Verify the installation
- Enable IBMid
