Activating and deactivating shipping codes

In order for a shipping code to be applied to product or categories in an order, it must be activated.


Procedure

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  2. Click Store > Change Shipping. The Shipping overview page is displayed. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.

  3. Click Shipping codes. The Shipping Codes page is displayed.

  4. Select the shipping code to be activated or deactivated. Click Activate or Deactivate as necessary. The information in the Status column changes to Activated or Deactivated.


What to do next

Ask the Site Administrator to update the calculation component in the registry using the Administration Console. Your changes will not take effect until the registry is updated.
