Activating or deactivating a promotion
Promotions can exist in the store in active or inactive states. You can only edit inactive promotions.
Be aware that deactivating a promotion could affect customers who have ordered; then change their order. If a promotion is deactivated in the interim, the customer will not qualify for, or receive, the promotion.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Marketing > Promotions. The Promotions window displays, containing a list of the currently defined promotions.
- Select the check box to the left of the promotion and click Activate or Deactivate. The promotion will be activated or deactivated on the production server.
