Create a promotion
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Marketing > Promotions. The Promotions window displays, containing a list of the currently defined promotions.
- Click New. The Promotions wizard displays.
- Complete each page as required selecting the values appropriate for the promotion to create.
- Click Finish to save the promotion. The promotion is displayed in the Promotions list, and set as inactive.
What to do next
The Site Administrator must propagate the promotion data from the development server to the production WebSphere Commerce Server before any customer orders can make use of them.
