Hide a product
You can hide a product so that it does not display to customers, for example, if the product is temporarily out of stock.
Procedure
- Find the product to hide.
- Select a field in the product row that to change, and from the Actions menu, click Change Product. The Change Product notebook opens.
- The General page displays. Clear the Display to customers check box.
- Click OK to hide the product and close the notebook.
- Optional: To hide the product in additional store languages:
- Click the Select icon.
- Change the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator language to the language for which to hide the product.
- Repeat steps 1-5.
- Repeat steps a-c for each additional language for which to hide the product.
Results
Notes:
- You can switch to a different language only if you are authorized to work with more than one of the WebSphere Commerce supported languages and if the language is available.
- If the changes to the catalog data do not display in the store, the Site Administrator may need to remove the currently cached JSP pages.
