Schedule a Web activity for an e-Marketing Spot
Use the e-Marketing Spots page to schedule Web activities.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Marketing > e-Marketing Spots. The e-Marketing Spots list displays, containing the e-Marketing Spots currently defined for the selected store. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Select the check box to the left of the e-Marketing Spot for which to schedule a Web activity. Click Change. The E-Marketing Spot Properties page displays.
- If you already have a Web activity click Add. This opens the Campaign Activity Selection screen.
- Select the check box to the left of the Web activity that to schedule for this e-Marketing spot. Click Add to return to the e-Marketing Spot Properties page. The selected Web activity now displays in the Scheduled Web Activities list.
- Specify a Start Date and End Date for the Web activity.
- Select a Priority for the Web activity. The highest priority value is 1 and the lowest is 10. When multiple activities are scheduled for the same e-Marketing Spot, the activity with the highest priority will be displayed more frequently than activities with lower priorities. For example, if the following three activities of the same type are all scheduled for the same e-Marketing Spot, the display frequency is similar to the following if the e-Marketing Spot is set up to display only one result for each type:

If two or more activities have the same priority, then the server will determine which activity to display on a random basis.
- Click OK to save the schedule assignment.
