Submit and viewing a new RFQ request (buyer)
This section explains how to transmit a request to a seller.
To transmit a request to the seller, from the advanced B2B starter store:
Procedure
- On the RFQ list page, find the request to submit from the RFQ name column.
- Click Submit RFQ. The RFQ list page refreshes and updates the selected requests status to Active or Future depending on what was specified on the start date.
- Active
- The RFQ request has been submitted to the seller and is accepting responses.
- Future
- The RFQ will become active on the specified start date and will start accepting responses.
Select RFQ Summary on the request you have just worked on. The RFQ Summary page displays. It summarizes the RFQs general information, attachments, product, and terms and conditions information. Details for any product can be viewed by clicking on the product name.
